Premium Varietal Chardonnay

Chardonnay is a green-skinned grape variety. It believed to have originated in the Burgundy wine region of eastern France but is now grown in many countries. The Chardonnay grape itself is very neutral, with many of the flavors commonly associated with the grape being derived from such influences as terroir and oak. This 100% Chardonnay, fermented and aged in stainless steel, is the opposite of the New World, "buttery-oaky" style, displaying characteristics more associated with Chablis. Fresh fruit notes of green apple and white peach are complemented by a bright acidity and chalky-minerality on the palate. It is a perfect match for seafood and fishes with tasty sauces.

Premium Varietal Merlot

Merlot-based wines usually have medium body with hints of berry, plum, and currant. The name comes from the French regional patois word "merlot", which means "young blackbird" ("merle" is the French word for several kinds of thrushes, including blackbirds); the naming came either because of the grape's beautiful dark-blue color, or due to blackbirds' fondness for grapes. This Merlot represents a lighter style, showing fruit notes of red cherry, strawberry, and pomegranate with a slight herbaceous, earthen character present. This freshness carries through on the palate, creating a well balanced wine, of elegant and harmonious flavours. Try it with pork or ham, spicy hard cheeses, or fresh vegetable salads.

Premium Varietal Tannat

Tannat is a red wine grape, historically grown in South West France in the Madiran AOC and is now one of the most prominent grapes in Uruguay, where it is considered the "national grape". The Tannat wines produced here are characterized by more elegant and softer tannins and blackberry fruit notes. A well balanced wine, of velvety tannins and with unique personality. This wine is full bodied and has a well rounded mouthfeel, intense expression of fruit and varietal character of Tannat. It is a perfect match for lamb or barbequed steaks.

Reserve Collection Pinot Noir Blanc de Noirs / Chardonnay Rose

A 60/40 blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, fermented separately and then blended to marry during a brief aging process. This wine is light pink in colour, with soft hints of salmon and copper. The classic richness of Pinot Noir is balanced with the delicate fruit and refreshing acidity of Chardonnay. Aging the wine in oak barrels on its lees lends a mild nutty and toasty notes to the citrus, strawberry and floral flavours. It is elegant and well balanced with creamy texture and soft, lingering finish. It is great with seafood, especially oysters, smoked or grilled salmon and sushi.

Reserve Collection Pinot Noir / Tannat

A 70/30 blend of Pinot Noir and Tannat, fermented separately and then blended to marry in oak for nine months. A unique blend, combining two red varietals on the opposite of the spectrum. This red wine presents an attractive garnet red colour. The flavours are delicate with blackberries and plum jelly notes, carried through to the creamy finish. By combining this interesting ‘Assemblage’ with blue cheese and red meats, the perfect match is obtained.
